Education
- Ph.D. in Chemistry (2018/2022), with emphasis on Organic Chemistry, from the Postgraduate Program in Chemistry (PPGQ) at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG), working at the Laboratory of Peptide Synthesis and Structure (LASEP) and advised by Jarbas Resende.
- Master’s degree in Chemistry (2016/18), with emphasis on Organic Chemistry, from the Multicentric Postgraduate Program in Chemistry of Minas Gerais (PPGMQ-MG), working at the Laboratory of Synthesis of Heterocyclic Systems (LaSSH) and co-advised by Maurício Santos and Eder Tavares.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from the Federal University of Itajubá (UNIFEI) (2012/15).
Previous Work Experience
- Substitute Professor of Chemistry at UNIFEI (2024/25).
- Intellectual Property Analyst in Organic Chemistry and Pharmacy at the Coordination of Technology Transfer and Innovation (CTIT) (2022/24).
Research Interests
- Classical organic synthesis (MBH reaction, sulfonyldithiocarbimates, fluorination reactions);
- Peptide synthesis and structural/biophysical studies;
- Dithiocarbimate metal complexes;
- Spectroscopy-enabled, mainly NMR-enabled, structural and physical-organic studies.
